CROSSIE (Ontario)
Crossie weighed 53 pounds when she arrived in Feb 2016 and now weighs about 67 pounds in 2020. She loves her daily walks around the pond looking for her coyote and deer friends! Crossie wrote a book that’s being considered as a supplimentary resource by a large Ontario school board.
ISLA
Isla (right) is one of our 2020 rescues. She was adopted to a wonderful family that are giving her the best life. She has a Potcake sister who is also one of our rescues! We are thrilled to see how she is thriving in her new family with a sister Potcake as well as two children.
JACK
Here is the extra-playful Jack trying to shove his way through the trampoline net to get on with the kids. His family says, “We love this goofball so much!”. We agree, Jack is amazing!
MANGO (Utah)
Mango came from the Abaco Shelter in 2013. He currently lives in Utah and much prefers the snowy winter to the summer heat. He is a sucker for a good, long nap on a comfy bed, but he lives for hiking, paddle boarding, snow days, cats, camping and homemade dog treats. Each year, Mango runs his own fundraiser for Abaco Shelter by selling t-shirts for his birthday!
MELODY
Melody just celebrated her 3rd Gotcha Day in 2020. She has a wonderful family with three kids and three other dogs. We think she’s living the life and you can find more pictures of her on our Facebook page.
WILLIE (Missouri)
Willie is named after the shelter’s founder, Willis Weatherford. Willie was adopted as a pup in 2016 and was chosen for a family who specifically needed a dog who would do well with another Potcake who was scared of other dogs. Today, they are best buds! Watch THIS VIDEO to see his gotcha day!
