Here are a few answers to our frequently asked questions.

HOW CAN I HELP?

1) Interact with our posts on social media! Comment, Like, and Share.

2) Donate: We have a U.S. 501(c)3 organization you can donate to and an Amazon Wishlist. Both are found under the DONATE tab at http://www.AbacoShelter.org

3) Travel: We need help getting dogs to the U.S. and around the U.S. to foster homes and adopters. Please contact us.

3) Foster: We need foster homes in The Abacos as well as in the U.S. If you can help, please contact us.

4) Volunteer: Please contact us.: If you live on Great Abaco, we need your help! Two hours a week would be fantastic. Please contact us.

HOW CAN I ADOPT?

Please find the adoption application at https://www.abacoshelter.org. We take adoptions seriously and they are usually free for you. Your help with transportation costs are ideal.

WE'RE TRAVELING TO THE ABACOS

Can we bring you something or can we volunteer when we are there?

Yes and yes! Please contact us to organize a drop off or a visit to the shelter. Read "visit" as "volunteer" :) We are nothing like a typical shelter in the U.S. or other parts of the world. You'll be hot and you'll get dirty, but you'll experience joy like nothing else. We have a Porta Potty.
